Land Art Projects
Most of the Land-art projects are temporarely and themattical started. The inspiration comes from the spot itself. By walking in an area thoughts and fantasies come up. What I see, hear, feel and smell can be assimilated in the work of art.

the red island
2010The red island, made for the exhibition Pracht in de gracht Zaltbommel, is made of red material on an island in the water, which was teared up in streamer that stayed on the water with many little balls. The sparkling of the water doubled the little balls.
tribute to the river and the fisherman
2010A tribute tot the river, and the fisherman, is a work of art made from 7 wooden boxes with poems from Dutch poets about the river and the fisherman. They were hanging in the trees beside the pond where also the fisherman were resting in the evening hours
resting area
2010In the garden of a farm which is used as -rustpunt Salland-a resting Area for bikers and wanderers, I made this work from what I found there; a cover of a well, erratic blocks and an iron band of a wooden wheel. I painted it with the text; Ïs there a place for anyone on this earth (is there a place for anyone), round and round to read
tracks
2010Tracks of the skywalker above a path in the woods Visitors can follow the footprints and see where the skywalker wandered,stopped and looked around.

2009Drifting work of art, associated with pearls and umbrella's. This work had different appearances; open umbrella's, closed umbrella's and after some time there was one open umbrella drifting apart.

2008A land-art work of 25 meters, falling down from the riverside en going on with the stream till it's invisible, gone in the woods
two towers of flax
2007In the open space in the wood there are two towers of flax watching the new past.Flax is the material for linen canvases and the (linseed)oil was used for the first oilpaints Here the flax itself was used for a work of art in nature.
walk in the sky
2006This work of art was made for a land art exposition, but after thatm when the fallen leaved had dried, it was placed in the building of a broadcast company. The entry of this building is very transparent, much glass, also stairs of glass and the elevator house is also transparant.My work was layed over this elevator house, and the footprints go up on one side, down on the other side.
