Gogyoshi Art Projects
Taro Aizu Japanese author wrote 10 gogyoshi poems about Fukushima. Dutch artist of all provinces were inspired by his work. The project starts in Lelystad and will be traveling through the country.

Celebrating Fukushima
2012Celebrating spring in your own village, dancing under the cherryblossom tree. The author didn't dare to go to his village last year. I made a"vanitas" of this painting; the cherry blossoms are falling like snow, around the dancing figures. They became the symbol of temporarelyness of everything
Fukushima revisited
2012In gogyoshi 1 the author wants to retun to hus birthtown Fukushima for visiting family graves. Hij realises the fact that he can getcancer, but he finds himself old enough for this. The green,green, brilliant rice fields were made unnaturally green and blliant with spacegel.
